Well, here goes nothing… I’m officially starting my blog and this is my first entry!  I’m a wife, a mom (of 2 sweet little boys) and an interior redesigner with a passion for helping others.  In life, we all go through many changes and our books are made of many different chapters.  And whether we realize it or not, I believe that our homes often reflect where we are in our lives.  Right now, I am constantly tripping over Leapfrog toys that sing to me and (once again) putting some of my favorite rooms accessories either away or arranging them up high since my one year old loves to grab them versus all the toys that are spread on the floor.  So, needless to say, I don’t have a gorgeous centerpiece in the middle of my coffee table, in fact, there is absolutely nothing on it!  But I still love the way my house is decorated and continuely modify it so that it is a place we all enjoy coming home to but more importantly is functional for my family and where we are at in our lives.

I’m an organized freak by nature so I love putting “systems” in place that work and are realistic.  I love solving decorating dilemmas and organizational issues in the house (such as the collection of shoes that just end up in a huge pile in the coat closet where finding 2 matching shoes is like finding a needle in a haystack!).  Tackling interior design problems helps to make our days easier and more organized, provides us with a home that doesn’t immediately make us feel stressed and unhappy when we walk in the door and has created a place that we love and enjoy (and are proud of too!).  I’m a very budget conscious person and I LOVE a bargain (who doesn’t?).  All of these things that I just mentioned about me (organized freak, helping others, love interior decorating, problem solver, bargain hunter, being a realist, etc) has lead me to my dream career as an interior redesigner!
